Which countries are covered?
All of Africa. The data used by PRO covers the whole continent, from major cities to rural areas.
Do I need to use the Map Action platform?
No. PRO is a separate, stand-alone service. If your organisation already uses the platform, its field data can also be analysed in PRO.
How accurate are the results?
It depends on the question, and the report states it for every figure: measured, estimated or interpreted. Counts and distances are precise. Population is an estimate from recognised demographic models, with its margin of uncertainty.
Is my data shared?
No. Your areas, questions and reports are visible only to your organisation.
Can I quote the results in my own reports?
Yes. Every figure shows its source and confidence level: you can reuse it in your own reports.
